The PLAN test is required for 10th grade students. The PLAN test, which is the "Pre-ACT" is a great predictor of future success on the ACT assessment. It also provides the student, parents, and the school counselor with valuable information about strengths and weaknesses, career interests, and estimates a composite (overall) score range on the full-length ACT as an 11th and 12th grade student.
The EXPLORE test helps 9th graders build a solid foundation for future academic and career success and provides information needed to address school districts' high-priority issues. It is a comprehensive resource that helps students measure their current academic development, explore career/training options, and make plans for the remaining years of high school. EXPLORE also provides an overall score range on the full-length ACT as an 11th and 12th grade student.
