ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR: 12/2/11 

  • Congratulations to:
    • Both A and B Junior High Boys Basketball Teams for winning yesterday.
  • Good luck to:
    • The Boys JV and Varsity and the Girls Varsity Basketball Teams who host Faith Christian toady.  The Boys JV game starts at 4:30, the Girls Varsity at 6:00pm and then the Boys Varsity at 7:30.  It is the One Game, One Cause, One Community event.  Please wear your T-Shirts for the game.  If you have not yet purchased one there will be a limited number for sale at the door.
  • A reminder that tomorrow is the Junior and Senior High Student Councils Electronic Recycling Fundraiser from 8:00 – 12:00am at the High School parking lot.  Help the environment and the schools at the same time.  DP Electronic Recycling will be here to collect anything that plugs into a wall or runs on batteries. The money we receive is based on the number of pounds we collect. 
  • The SCA Spiritwear Holiday Season Sale orders are due by December 5th.
  • Attention Seniors, a representative from Jostens will be here Monday morning December 5th at 7:30am to distribute information about ordering caps, gowns, and announcements for graduation.  All seniors must attend.
  • Next week Tuesday we have an early release.  The schedule will be periods 5, 6, 7, and 8th.  After 8th hour students will be dismissed.
  • The WBHS Spanish Club is sponsoring the second annual drive for Love, Inc., an organization serving the Southern Lakes area,  starting today until Dec. 15th. The target group this year is teenagers. New items, such as jewelry, clothing, gift cards for music or stores, and other teen-appropriate gifts will be accepted. Please bring unwrapped donations to Mrs. Kavanagh's room.

    • The Boys Junior High Basketball Teams who host St. Francis at 4:00pm today.
  • Attention Seniors, a representative from Jostens will be here Monday morning December 5th at 7:30am to distribute information about ordering caps, gowns, and announcements for graduation.  All seniors must attend.

  • Those students who are on the weekly monitor and did not complete it on Wednesday before break please pick them up and turn them in before you leave today.
  • History Club T- Shirts & Hoodies can be picked up from Mrs. Soplanda during school today.
  • A new treasure hunt begins Tuesday for the History Club Treasure Hunt Committee. Join us at 2:45pm in the Library.

  • There are several items including jackets on the table outside of the office in the lost and found.  They will be donated to good will if not claimed today.
  • A reminder to the Creative Writing Club members, please give your Labyrinth submissions to Caroline Brown by Wednesday Nov. 30th.
