ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR: 9/30/11

  • Good luck to:
    • The Varsity Football Team who travel to Randolph tonight.  Bus time 3:15.
    • The Girls Junior High Volleyball Teams who travel to St. Andrews Parish School today. 
    • The Cross Country team who travel to Lake Country Lutheran HS for the Lightning Invite on Saturday at 10:30AM. Bus time 8:45AM.
    • The Volleyball Team who travel to Catholic Central for an Invite at 9:00AM on Saturday.   Bus time 7:15AM.
  • It’s time again to begin thinking about getting your Destination Imagination Teams together for this year.  If you enjoy inventing, building, research, writing, art, set design, costuming, preforming, and collaborating with others to solve problems in creative and unique ways, you will love Destination Imagination.  All you need is a team of 5 – 7 students and an adult volunteer to act as manager.  There will be an informational meeting for students and parents on Wednesday, October 12 at 6:30pm in the Cafeteria of the Elementary School.  Stop by the office and pick up additional information about this program and the exciting challenges for this year.
  • There is no Junior High flag football practice today.
  • The bus for the Junior High Flag Football game Monday at Walworth will leave school at 3:20.
  • Next week is NATIONAL YEARBOOK WEEK!  To honor this tradition, the Yearbook class will be sponsoring a Trivia Contest.  One question will be read each day next week on the morning announcements.  The questions will also be posted on Mrs. Mitchell’s Homework Now page.  It is up to you to keep track of all five of your answers on one sheet of paper, and turn it in to Mrs. Mitchell by 11:30 AM on Monday October 10.  Answers to the questions can be found in the 2008 – 2011 yearbooks.  Students who answer all five questions correctly will go into a drawing for a free 2012 yearbook.  Good Luck.
