Welcome!! My name is Michael Dowden and I am in my second year in the Williams Bay School District and 11th year teaching overall. I graduated from Big Foot High School (Walworth, WI) in 2005 and then spent my college years between Beloit College and St. Norbert College. While at both schools, I played basketball, earned my bachelors, and my teaching certification. After college, I married my high school sweetheart, Caitlin, and we currently live in Walworth with our five daughters, two dogs, one cat, and a bunch of fish. We love going for walks as a family, playing sports, watching games and musicals, and spending time with the rest of our family.
In the past, I have taught everything from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus in the classroom. Outside of the classroom, I have coached basketball, baseball, football, softball, and track. I have also advised a variety of clubs.
This year, I will be teaching Math 8, Algebra, Geometry and Advanced Math. In addition, I am also the Varsity girls' basketball coach, assistant track coach, and assistant math team advisor.
